ROUTES — live GATE — coming VOICE — coming
v0.9.42 ROUTES 21 Jul 2026 · 22:39

Fixed

  • GSX profiles are found even when the filename doesn’t contain the airport code. Some profiles are named after the city or the developer rather than the ICAO. Go2Gate now reads the code from inside the file, where GSX stores it, so those profiles are recognised too. (Kevin’s Manchester EGCC was the one that flushed this out.)
v0.9.41 ROUTES 21 Jul 2026 · 22:18

Fixed

  • The Re-scan button on the library page works. It used to do nothing; the one on the front screen was fine. Both now trigger a real scan.
  • “Find a GSX profile” goes straight to flightsim.to for that airport, instead of a Google search.
  • GSX profiles are recognised however the file is named — flightsim.to profiles often prefix the filename (zzzz…) or run words together, which used to hide them.
v0.9.40 ROUTES 21 Jul 2026 · 21:28

Fixed

  • Re-scan always uses your newest scan. Occasionally a rescan re-posted your previous scan instead of the fresh one, so a change you just made looked like it hadn’t been picked up. It now waits for the new scan every time.
  • Quiet console. The small black window no longer fills with harmless errors when your browser closes a connection.
v0.9.38 ROUTES 21 Jul 2026 · 19:51
The scanner was rebuilt in this build. It now checks your add-ons against what’s actually on your disk, so — depending on your setup — some counts may change. That’s the fix, not a bug.

Fixed

  • We were listing airports you can’t actually fly. If a scenery sits in your Addon Linker library and isn’t linked in, the sim cannot load it — you’d get default scenery — but Go2Gate counted it as ready to go. It also meant routes into those airports showed as flyable when they weren’t. On Ben’s machine that was 56 airports, including Heathrow, Frankfurt, Brussels, Manchester and Amsterdam. Every airport is now checked against what is physically on your disk.
  • Three clear states instead of one. Ready (green tick) — fly it now. Not linked (amber tick) — you own it, it’s in your library, one click away in Addon Linker. User disabled (red cross) — you switched it off in MSFS. Nothing has been removed from your library; it is just honest about which is which.
  • Every version of an airport is shown. Three Amsterdams or two Newcastles now appear side by side with the active one clear, so you can see at a glance which scenery you would actually get.
  • Scans reach us again. The upload that keeps your library in sync had never once succeeded — it failed silently from the day it was written. Fixed, and it now reports a failure instead of pretending it worked.
  • Phantom sceneries no longer counted. MSFS keeps a record of add-ons long after the files are deleted. Anything with no files behind it is no longer counted as installed.
To get this: the app offers the update automatically — click it, run the new build, and it re-scans on first launch. Your data carries over.
v0.9.34 ROUTES 13 Jul 2026 · 23:19

New

  • Fresh scan on first launch. After an update the app re-reads your sim automatically the first time it opens, so you always start on current data.
  • Rebuilt “your library” page — sceneries grouped by region with flags, a drawer on each airport showing exactly what’s installed, and a link to find GSX profiles where you don’t have one.

Fixed

  • Liveries only show your airliners — military and GA paints are no longer counted as airline liveries.
  • Aircraft that were being missed now show up — the iFly 737 MAX 8-200 and Just Flight Fokker 70/100 are recognised.
  • The flight-time filter works — the hour buckets now filter correctly.

Earlier builds (v0.9.0–v0.9.18) aren’t listed here — v0.9.0 was the first versioned release.
